Exam registrations, government services, scholarship and university admission portals often cap uploads at 100 KB — for a scanned ID card, a certificate, a photo page or a signed declaration. Will my PDF be readable at 100 KB?
For one or two scanned pages, yes — text on ID cards and certificates stays legible. Longer documents lose more detail, so upload only the pages the form asks for.
It says it could not get under 100 KB. What now?
Remove pages you do not need with Delete PDF Pages, crop the margins with Crop PDF, then run it again. Very long scans cannot reach 100 KB without becoming unreadable.
Is 100 KB the same as 0.1 MB?
