Wide margins waste screen space on phones and e-readers and make scans look sloppy. Crop PDF trims them: choose Auto to detect the printed area of each page and cut the white space around it (keeping a small border), or enter exact amounts to remove from the top, bottom, left and right. 72 points equal one inch; 28 points are about a centimetre.
Cropping sets the page’s visible area rather than deleting content, so it is safe and reversible with the original file. The document is processed in your browser only.

Frequently asked questions
Is the cropped content deleted?
No — PDF cropping hides it. If you need it gone for good, use Compress (which re-renders pages) after cropping, or Redact.
Can I crop each page differently?
Auto-trim does exactly that. For different manual amounts, run the tool twice with page ranges.
Why did Auto not crop my scan much?
Scans often have grey noise in the margins. Use manual amounts instead.
