PDFkitt covers the everyday PDF jobs: fixing a line of text, signing a contract, filling a form, tidying up a scan or combining a few files. Here is the complete list.
Text
- Add a text box anywhere on a page

What it does not do (yet)
We would rather be clear than have you find out halfway through a job:
- Editing existing text is cover-and-replace, not true reflow. The original text is hidden under a page-colored box and your new text is drawn on top, using the standard PDF fonts. It looks right in the vast majority of documents, but it is not a redaction: the old text is still in the file.
- Images that are already in the PDF cannot be swapped. Cover them with a new image instead.
- No Word (.docx) export. The text-only export gives you the words to paste into Word.
- Radio buttons and drop-down fields in forms are shown but cannot be changed.
- Vertical or rotated text runs cannot be edited in place.
